What We Believe

We believe the Holy Bible, known as the Scriptures, were penned by faithful men of old who were divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit of God . (2 Timothy 3 verses 16-17). We believe that according to the Scriptures, God requires all men and women, young and old, to repent of their sins before God ( Acts 17 verse 30; & 20 verse 20-21) and to believe in their hearts that Christ died for their sins and the sin of the world; was buried; then rose from among the dead the third day, and forty days later was received up into heaven. ( Luke 24 verses 50-51)
We believe we have a responsibility in this day of God’s grace, to preach the Gospel of the Grace of God, whenever and wherever opportunity affords, to all who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their own personal Saviour. (Mark 16 verses 15-16).
We believe that as an outward witness of one’s repentance before God and of having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, a christian believer should be baptised by immersion as taught in the Scriptures, Acts 8 verses 35-39, coupled with the directive of the Lord Jesus Himself to His disciples as recorded in Matthew 28 verses 19-20.
We believe that christian believers should regularly meet together for the Breaking of Bread, Prayer, Bible Teaching and Fellowship. ( Acts 2 verse 42. & Hebrews 10 verse  25).
We believe the next great event that will affect this world, is the ‘rapture to glory/heaven’ of all christian believers in the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 4 verses 15-17). When this happens, it will signal the end of God's Day of Grace and Salvation to this world; the opportunity to be saved for heaven will have passed. If you are unsaved when the Day of Salvation ends, you will be left behind to await a fearful Day of Judgement before God's Great White Throne and suffer its consequences as detailed in the last book of the Bible the REVELATION chapter 20 and verses 11 to 15.
