Outreach Work

Wimborne Market

The market is open through-out the year each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Members of the Wimborne Assembly man the testimony table every Friday and Saturday. The Table is left uncovered on Sunday for market visitors to browse and take gospel tracts, ministry booklets, cassettes, C.D’s of Gospel messages and ministry.

Bibles, tracts, booklets, cassettes and C.D’s are free to all, just as God’s gift of eternal life is free to the repentant sinner; see Romans 5:15-18; 6:23 and Ephesians 2:8.

Stall at Wimborne Market

Over the years many hundreds of tracts and cassettes etc. have been handed out, and countless enquiries on the teaching of the Bible have been answered by Christian believers who man the stand. We give thanks to God that many needy souls have been blessed as a result of the testimony.

St Leonards Hospital

On the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm, the members of the assembly visit the Hospital and hold a Gospel service for the patients.
The 'outreach' work at St Leonards has been ongoing for many years and we believe that many have been eternally blessed as a result of the faithful testimony.  Although the unit we visit in the hospital is small, we do get a very good response from the patients, most of whom we conclude are unsaved yet happy to listen attentively to the gospel message.  We thank God for the privilege of this service, knowing that His Word will not return unto Him void, but shall accomplish that which He pleases and shall prosper in the thing whereunto He sends it. ref. Isaiah 55 verse 11.

Tract distribution

Each year, homes in the Wimborne area receive Gospel tracts or booklets together with an invitation to come along to Emmanuel Gospel Hall on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm.  House to house visits are made each month in the immediate vacinity of the Hall when  conversations are held with the householders and gospel tracts well received.
